No. Under the standard model, AVENTRA finances, builds and operates the plant. The mill supplies vinasse and filter cake and is paid according to the agreed commercial model. The commercial proposal defines responsibilities for land, utilities and interfaces with the mill. We also assess structures in which the mill participates in the investment.

Vinasse undergoes biodigestion before returning to agricultural use. The digestate retains nutrients, including potassium, and has a lower organic load. Reception and return interfaces are developed jointly with the mill’s team.

Planning considers residue availability throughout the year. For each project, we assess storage, the use of other residues and maintenance scheduling. This planning guides plant operation and biomethane supply commitments.

It depends on vinasse volume and concentration, the distance to the gas delivery route and the local reference price. We provide an initial assessment at no cost to answer this question using your mill’s figures.

Closed vertical bioreactors allow control of temperature, mixing and retention time. The plant makes better use of vinasse, produces more with greater stability and efficiency, and occupies less space. The closed system also reduces fugitive methane emissions. Performance is verified during operation.

Biodigestion uses technology from a global company with plants in industrial operation. Plant engineering and integration — including H₂S removal and biogas upgrading — are coordinated by AVENTRA’s technical team.

The process includes H₂S removal, biogas upgrading and quality control so that biomethane meets the ANP specification applicable to its intended use. Compliance is verified during commissioning and monitored throughout operation.

Biogenic CO₂ can be recovered and treated for sale or directed to geological storage. The choice depends on each project’s scale, location, logistics and market. Geological storage can deliver carbon removal, subject to technical conditions and certification requirements.

The project can generate CBIOs by meeting the applicable certification and issuance requirements. Other environmental attributes are assessed according to the plant’s configuration. The contract defines how these benefits are shared between the parties.
