AVENTRA develops projects to turn vinasse and filter cake into renewable energy and resources for industry and agriculture. Our first project is under development.
Biomethane: renewable energy for transport and industry.
Biomethane is the main product of AVENTRA’s projects. Produced by upgrading biogas, it can replace natural gas in industrial applications and diesel in heavy vehicles designed to run on gas.
Supply arrangements will be developed with each customer, considering location, consumption patterns and available infrastructure. Specifications, volumes, delivery methods and supply terms will be defined during the development of each project.
Biogenic CO₂: a resource for new applications.
CO₂ of biological origin is separated from biogas during biomethane upgrading. AVENTRA’s projects will assess its recovery and use as a feedstock for industrial processes and synthetic fuel production.
Its destination will depend on the feasibility of capture, purification, liquefaction and transport. The quality required by each application will guide the configuration of the solution and its supply terms.
AVENTRA also co-develops Endura Carbon, focused on infrastructure for the capture, transport and permanent geological storage of biogenic CO₂. The project is under development in Brazil.
Biofertilizer: returning nutrients to the fields.
After biodigestion, digestate can be used as a biofertilizer on the mill’s agricultural land. This return connects residue treatment with nutrient management in the fields.
Its use will be guided by analyses of the material, soil and crop requirements. Application rates, timing and methods will depend on each mill’s agronomic plan and the characteristics of the digestate.
