Ethics and integrity

How we conduct our business.

Integrity guides how Aventra develops projects, selects partners and conducts its commercial relationships. These principles apply to relationships with mills, customers, suppliers, investors and public authorities.

Responsible commercial relationships.

We make commercial decisions based on technical and economic criteria, with clear records and defined responsibilities. We do not accept bribery, improper payments or benefits intended to influence decisions.

Gifts, hospitality and interactions with public officials follow integrity criteria and do not compromise independent decision-making.

Conflicts of interest and partner selection.

Personal interests or relationships that could influence decisions are disclosed and assessed before any contracting or negotiation. We select suppliers and partners based on competence, commercial terms, safety and integrity.

In our dealings with third parties, we respect fair competition and use assessment criteria consistent with the scope and risks of each contract.

Respect for people and information.

Our working and business relationships are based on respect. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, child labour or forced labour, and we require the same of partners and service providers involved in our projects.

We handle personal, technical and commercial information according to its purpose and confidentiality. In our public communications, we distinguish projects under development, objectives and substantiated results.

Application during development.

These principles guide Aventra’s responsibilities and integrity measures. Their application evolves with our activities, from negotiations and contracting through to construction and operation.

We are formalising the policies and procedures that define decision criteria, the handling of conflicts and the reporting of concerns. The documents will be published on this page once approved.
